Set against a beautiful pale green background, the front of this notebook is decorated with one of Hannah Dales beautiful illustrations, ‘Whiskers and Wild Flowers’. This design depicts a fluffy, tabby cat sat next to gorgeous purple and pink flowers. The design is painted in the soft watercolour style of artist Hannah Dale, depicted with intricate detail and surrounding the illustration are speckles of black paint, in a way that is synonymous with the Wrendale brand. The back cover depicts an adorable illustration of two cats nuzzling up to each other lovingly, their tails intertwined.

Inside are roughly lined pages with an illustration of the black and white cats nuzzling together in the bottom right-hand corner. Both the inside front and back covers have a pattern of cats and flowers. This hardback notebook is finished with an elasticated closure to keep the book secure when not in use and the thick card covers protect it from damage.

Hannah is an ex-stockbroker turned farmer’s wife who, inspired by her rural married life, embraced her artistic roots and began painting the animals in the landscape around her.
